We are constantly looking at new ways to add interest to our designs. I was making bead caps for my lampwork when I reached back to the riveting skills that I learned a few years back and started working on copper bracelets. Kim came along and set down these coral disks and that was the icing on the cake! Don't you just love the creative process!

Please have a look at our other new designs available through Etsy. See everything at Two Studios and the beads are available at River Studio.

Shelby will be continuing her lampwork lessens this afternoon. I will tell you more about that later.

Oh, we are in love with these new beads! What fun it is when a plan comes together. Lynda's sassy red lampwork beads accented with turquois dots really pop when surrounded by red coral and sterling silver. This design makes you feel strong and beautiful. There is something about space and color that transforms your attitude. These pieces did it for me. We usually design "lighter", hmmmmmmm. I think that we are on the verge of change!

Think metal....

Today is the day. I am going to stay at this computer until I have a blog set up. I have been persuaded to do a blog because the success of my business depends on internet marketing. I create lampwork beads. In the future I plan to offer tips and tricks for lampwork artists. My friend, Kim and I work together at Two Studios. Kim makes resin and ceramic beads. She also designs most of our jewelry using her skills with hand tooled wire. Please take a moment to see our work at Two Studios. Our designs are available at Etsy. I also offer my lampwork creations on Etsy as the River Studio.
We are working on some new designs using riveted metals. Tomorrow, after I blog, I will go to the studio and finish the riveted bracelet that i started on Friday. Check back, I will have it photographed on Wednesday.
