This is the snow from our last storm. We are now waiting for the New Years's Blast. One foot of snow fall is being predicted and we can't wait! (Horse pictures by Lynda)

Maybe I will be snowed in for a week and will be able to work on new design ideas. I haven't been at the studio for about two weeks because of all the family Christmas parties. Today we are having our studio celebration. Shelby and I are waiting for Lynda to arrive and I see that she has had time to herself. There are some fabulous new beads on her mat that you will all be very excited to see. I have never seen this application before. She has taken her latest beads and developed them further. I thought that the first ones were the greatest. I had better shut up and let her show them to you. Stay tuned...........................
Cheers to 2010! Kim

Here they are! Lynda sent me the pictures of our hollow, hand painted, lampwork beads yesterday. She is a fabulous photographer. I am very lucky to have her talents available to me. Enjoy! Kim

Lynda mentioned that she had reached back and pulled out her riveting skills. She is always so inspiring! In my past artistic life I was into decorative painting. I have many painting skills that can incorporate into Lynda's lampwork and my resin work.

So, I started by painting on Lynda's hollow beads, which the picture of said beads has vanished, and then moved to these sterling silver bezel pieces that I had made earlier, that were just waiting for something fun. I have taken up riveting, too! I am working on a new hand painted bead necklace for a customer that we will post when finished.
Cheers!
Kim
